I am expecting 2013 will give the world a bumpy ride and we will hear and witness even more craziness than we have already been experiencing. While people have been waiting a bit prematurely to fall off a fiscal cliff, certain members of the churches have been behaving or speaking like madmen over Christmas. Prize winner in the craziness stakes, a man misusing language and terminology itself to the point of paranoia and perversion is the Archbishop of Cameroon, Victor Tonye Bakot. His Christmas address presumed to state that gay marriage amounted to “a serious crime against humanity” and “criminality against humanity”. A vocal church supporter has said the Archbishop needs to be supported to help preserve the human race – presumably because people will no longer wish to breed if homosexuality is tolerated.
